First of all, great to see this Ross Video Community active.

I have CrossOver Solo used mainly for Live events like concerts, corporate and other shows. It's a great mixer with low delay and great keying features.

I do get the requests more and more to be able to do Black & White mode for example for a song during the concert or in Sepia colors to be creative.

Is that on the roadmap somewhere for the future?

    Hi Marc,

Thanks for dropping into the Forum.

We are not able to add these kinds of preprocessor effects to the CrossOver series. On Vision these kinds of effects are done in the dedicated DVE Channel Processor.

Thanks for the feedback and request. Sorry it is not the answer you would like to see.

    Les

    Hi Les,

    Thanks for the quick answer.

You replied on this post already while I was writing the other one.

I guess the same answer for the brightness/contrast settings.

    Regards, Marc

oh this is in the wrong Forum -- this needs to move to the CrossOver Section. Oops need to have this moved and then modify my response to the other topic.

    Hello Marc.

You can do color correction with some openGear cards. Maybe something to look into if you got an openGear frame?

I have a CrossOver Solo and a OpenGear Frame indeed. Any suggestion for a possible card?

And how do you control it then remotely? By the open gear network software?

Cobalt Digital 9084 Color correction card. It might do the job for you. You control it real time through dashboard, or with an optional panel. I think this would be the easiest/cheapest solution for you(?)

Thanks very much for the info.

Hopefully the card is not too expensive.
