  • 1.  Loading Still Media from USB

I have a Crossover Solo, and this thing is awesome. However, I'm having an issue with getting a still loaded from USB. I'm using a PNY 16GB USB drive formatted NTFS, and it only has two images on the root directory. Both of these are 32-bit .tga w/ alpha to be loaded into stills, which I will then key over (they're variations of live bugs).

Any ideas? My next step is to try a smaller drive (4GB or 8GB), because I've seen the same issue with our Vision, and wonder if the same thing is happening.

I totally forgot to even talk about the problem.

So I go to load one of these images, and I'm presented with `` on the switcher.

    Dan,

Your USB format wont work, it needs to be formatted Fat32. Reformat it and I think you will be fine.

Our company has just recently purchased a Ross Crossover 16. I am running Software Version 4.0.6.7278. I am trying to load a still on to my M1. I have tried multiple USB drives all formatted with FAT32. I have created a directory on the drives and it can see the directory but not the files stored in the directory. I was wondering if there is something I am missing in my stills that I want to load? They are a .png file, I also have a .jpg file on the drive as well. Any help would be great.

    Thank you
