    Hello All:

    we are on version 12.1

I want to color correct the output of an aux bus.

We are in editor mode to use with OverDrive.

It is my understanding if we have 4 MLEs, we should be able to color correct 4 aux buses.

However when I double press a crosspoint on an aux bus selector - all options for color correcting are greyed out.

There is a blank button where from the manual I would expect an "assign corrector" to be.

The left side of the screen says

Aux buses assigned to correctors: None

    What am I missing?

Is this a possible software glitch - we are on 12.1f MD (a special version that added a CG timeout variable for some of our chyron graphics)

    Thanks,

    Clint

Hi Clint you have to "enable" an ME or more to share the resources with aux buses. To do this you will be making Key 4 of that ME "Internal" and will only be able to access ME Stores -- If you don't have those then Keyer 4 will pretty much be turned off.

Pick the ME that you want to use (I would pick the ME that you use Key 4 pretty much never on) and then in installation under Key 4 Config you can then assign that ME to be in a Mode that will give you these correctors. Also note that you will be using one of the Clean Feed paths as the means for this correction -- so if you have templates that use clean feeds for monitor fills then you will also have to make sure that you have not broken those.

    Thanks Les,

Wow - I somehow missed all of that quickly looking over the documentation.

We need at least 3 outputs to be corrected - I can't imagine giving up keyer 4 on all 3 M/Es to accomplish this.

    Thanks for the quick reply,

    -Clint
