Solly:
The switcher is not made to do this as Les has stated --- However, you can accomplish a 'FLY KEY" with the switcher but it is a little complicated. You can only "fly" the key around left, right, up, down and zoom in and out. In essence I am tricking the switcher by doing a split key with each side fill and matte respectively moving.
How I do it, because I need to fly a graphic around the screen also from time to time.
ME1 Key1 - DVE (CG fill)
ME1 Key2 - DVE (CG matte)
I then have ME1 Key1 ON over black, ME1 Key2 OFF over black -- Then on ME1 tag the Background, Key 1 and Key 2 -- Thus key1 is ME1 pgm and key2 is ME1 pvw
* Make an Emem on ME 1 -- move the DVEs together and save as another Emem. Have ME1 - AI ON press emem position 1 then emem position 2... etc
Your DVEs should track together and move all over the place.
Make ME1PGM and ME1PVW crosspoints in the switcher -- same as you would make any crosspoint input source.
On ME2 - do a split key with ME1pgm as the fill and ME1pvw as the matte.... Turn this keyer ON and key over whatever source you need to.
If you are lazy like I am -- I build the DVE moves as a CC timeline
Hope this all helps. If you can not get it to work right -- you can email me directly and I can talk you through the steps if you provide a phone number.
