I'm wondering what sort of multi-core cable I can use for GPO (to trigger a timer and a couple of other devices)? We've got lots of UTP Cat 6 cable, is that ok to use, or is there another type that's better? I want to connect them between then 37 pin d-sub on the back of the Carbonite to 9 pin d-sub connectors on the back of the devices using separate cables for each device.
