Recently, I had to build a show that did the same effect to replay, but used four different media wipes. Was there a way to load a custom control, then save it in a separate bank? I ended up building the effect exactly the same except for the media wipe 12x... got really good at it though!.

    Hi Brian,

So what I do (since copy and paste is not currently implemented) is to save my setup to the usb -- then either take out the usb or connect over FTP and copy the Custom Control that I would like.

You will find them in the USB under switcher/sets/setx/customcontrols -- example would be that bank 1 custom 12 would show up as CC112.

Then you can rename it to CC113 and do this for the number of them you need. Copy them back over to the USB and then load the Custom controls from usb.

Now a "better" way to achieve this kind of result would have been the building of the media wipe without the selection of the wipe you wanted. This would be the Run MediaWipe Custom Control. Then in all of the others you record the selecting of the wipe you want and then press the Run MediaWipe Macro. Since you can embed or "nest" custom controls in other custom controls this will allow you to create one "main CC" that is then called by the others with some simple additions made to it.

I wanted to say that I'd still like the function to copy single CCs from other sets into the current set within Dashboard only.

Yup that would be great but currently we don't have the ability to do this.
