Production Switchers

I have a 2 box DVE and can recall it, but once I take it to air one of the DVE's moves in Z. I have made new DVE and re-calibrated the positioner, still have the same problem. Help?

Is the DVE that is moving Assigned to the Joystick? Can you try recalling the effect. In the joystick area you can enable the Hold Button. Now while Holding down the LINK button press the CLEAR button. This will un-assign the joystick from any control (it will say NO Control) the hold is now going to prevent the joystick from attaching to anything else as well.

Now recall the effect -- does it stop moving?

Finally if still moving let's check the menu. On the menu change the top and bottom menus to something else like say Custom Control shot box on top and Still store on the bottom. Set the menu Locks on both so that they won't change to the keyer/DVE Menu.

Again recall the memory -- does the box stop moving now?
