There are multiple ways to do this and I guess would depend on what the way in which the specific light is controlled.
Probably could even be done with smart switches that accept simple TCPIP commands to control them.
Or the more traditional way was using relays and GPO triggers from the Switcher to open and close the relay which was acting as the light switch for it.
