Production Switchers

Hey all,

Tried searching the forum, but either no one encountered this as a problem, or already figured out how to do it :)
We built a little panel with 4 GPIO buttons to change crosspoint sources to feed a monitor connected to Aux6.
GPIO1 gives input 1 (CAM1 in my case) to Aux6,
GPIO2 gives input 2 (CAM2 in my case) to Aux6,
GPIO3 gives input 3 (CAM3 in my case) to Aux6,
GPIO4 ... I'd like to send PGM to Aux6???

Is this possible with v6.2.0.7650?

First off :) Why are you still on v6.2?? were up to v12.3 and in a couple of weeks 12.4 (really should be a complete new version but we don't do v13s and v14 is already the UHD Version number) that packs in all kinds of functions and features at no cost!!! Heck MiniMEs alone are worth the upgrade... Then there is all the dashboard improvements.... I could go on and on.


Anyway to the question.....Yes you should be able to assign that as the source to the GPI for an Aux Switch. Now if it is not in the list....If you upgrade it will be as I see that in v12.3 running on a switcher near my office.. I have no idea about v6 that is more than 5 years old.

Upgraded to 13.0 yesterday ... what a quantum leap for this little studio ... I'm quite impressed, feels like we have a brand new switcher!

Well because you do :) That is one of the big benefits of investing in Ross Video Switchers. We continue to develop on a platform for a long long time and release those upgrades to all users!!
