    Hello,

For some reason I keep getting a "Cache full error" when I try to load some GFX. I have also noticed that when I delete files from my USB the switcher still lists them when I scroll through the directory. I am using version 4.0.6.7278 on a crossover 16.

    Any ideas?...

    Hi Jamie,

the Cache full error will be with the fact that you have something in the channel that consumes enough frames that the item your loading would need some of. What you can do is load ID "0" which will eject the channel -- or just load a still into the channel -- also make sure that the associated alpha channel is not loaded with the original items frames of alpha.

Yes when you delete them from the usb there is still an entry in the Database. if you click on it it will then ask you to confirm the removal of it from the database to free up that entry ID. Then it will be gone.

Thanks again for your response, Les.

I cleared the media store channels by hitting M1-->000--> Select. I checked all 4 channels and they appear to be empty. However, I still get the error when loading an animation that is 200 frames totaling 326MB.

Maybe you could dropbox that animation to me and I will have someone take a look at it here.

Hi Les. Just wondering if anyone over there saw anything wrong the my animations. I am still not able to load the animation. Old animations that have since been deleted from my USB are still showing up and I don't get the option to " Free?" the entry. I just get the "Cache full" error message instead...

    Thanks for your help.

I though I sent you an email.

The animation is not 326MB it is much larger as the file gets expanded into the full video space. This animation is over the 2GB limit.

Is there a way to calculate what the size will be once it's expanded? I have an animation of 206 frames that's getting the same cache full error. The folder's 1.7 GB on my desktop.
