  • 1.  What Software version needed for Carbonite Switcher to work for UHD 4K?

    Hi Les,

    Can the Carbonite switcher work for UHD 4K in software version V10?

    Or need to upgrade to latest software version V12.0?

    The short answer is that v10 will work. However I would upgrade to v12 as there is a new option for the background to change how it uses DVE's. In past software version if you were using the MiniME's for UHD then it would set 4 DVE's for the background all the time, but in 12 you can turn it off or make it dynamic. Be sure to follow and read the instructions when upgrading to v12.

    Thanks for the answer. By the way, I'm now downloading the V12.0 software...but seems stuck on 1% and no processing... can you also help?
