    Looks with the FCPX it has now a powerful Multi-cam, so I can slowly move away from FCP7.

    As the newer tools all start using XML format over EDL, are there any plans for the CrossOver series to be able to generate an XML file any soon too?

    Hi Marc,

    The file for the EDL is actually an "XML" file it just uses the CMX3600 standards. To be honest I am not even sure yet if it will work in FCPX. We will have to look at what it will take to support this if it does not work.

    I currently do not have any access to Final Cut X. So I am still working on finding out if it works. Sorry but Final Cut X cut a lot of past history away, and we won't we able to work on anything in the near term if it does not just work with the current standard that is supported but Final Cut 7, Adobe and Avid.
