  • 1.  Custom control timing differences between formats

    We recently changed our format from 1080i to 720p. I've noticed that the timing on some of our custom controls seems "off". (We were using a 720p graphics package before, along with the Carbonite's FSFC's to convert to 1080i.)

    Is there a multiplier that I can use to convert the delays between the two formats, or do I just need to feel everything out again?

    1080i is 30 frames (59.94 Fields) per second. 720p is 60 Frames (59.94 Frames) per second. Just double up your Pauses and then "fell" a couple of them out. The FSFC was adding 1 frame of delay to the graphics so you may have to remove a frame or 2 from the overall total due to that.
