  • 1.  Using Custom Controls to activate effects dissolve

    I have created a simple DVE move using 2 effects memories, one moves it full screen the other makes it compress. (by the way is there a way to do this without using effects dissolves?).
    Now I would like to make a custom control to fire the memories and cause the effect to move. The effects dissolves are each built to be 30 frames, but I get an instant snap to each effect when placed in a single custom control. Do I need to make two separate CC's or can the timing of the effect dissolve be retained in a single multi step CC? Thoughts?

    You could build this all in a CC using State inserts and attributes to make sure yo only recall the elements that you want. If your using the effects memory method make sure that when you store the memories that effects dissolve is enabled when you store the memory. Also make sure that you have recall attributes set to memory mode and not always recall.
