  • 1.  Carbonite resetting Memories on ME 1 by itself

The subject line up there pretty much sums it up. Lately our 6 month old Carbonite is just drawing a blank on ME 1. We do a very simple show and really only use ME 1 to produce a chroma key for weather and double boxes for live throws. In mid show the entire block of "0" memory storage just goes away. They all just vanish for no reason. Reloading all settings from the USB brings it back. Just curious as to what might be causing the random wipe out. Nothing else on the switcher seems affected, CC's, memories on ME 2 or any other settings. Not sure if other memories in ME 1 are being wiped also as we really only use the ten in block "0". There is no set of things happening before they vanish, just random going along in the show, sometimes when not even using the switcher, come back to it and they are gone. Any suggestions gladly welcomed. thanks.

Do you want to try the other banks on ME 1 to see if it happens to them too? It would be good to know if it's restricted to Bank 0 or affects the others on that ME as well.

In dashboard. Configuration Diagnostics. You can save logs after this happens. This will store it to USB and then you can send them to Texh support to follow up with. I would recommend using the save logs method and not the write logs to USB. That was the information will be at the end of the log.

You would want to use the write to USB if you were having a "reboot" or lock up phenomenon. That way the logs won't be lost on the reboot.
