Production Switchers

Hi all,

Here's another question I'm just kind of throwing out there:

A colleague of mine noticed that on our Switcher, under the Global Memory and Preview assignment keys, there are buttons for ME3 and ME4. To my knowledge, our Vision only has ME1 and ME2 (an effect, and Preview/Program)... Is it possible there are two "hidden" MLEs?

When you hit these buttons, there's an error message that pops up basically saying the function is restricted, but could that somehow be because they're disabled/locked?

... Again, I'm just throwing this out here to see if anyone can shed some light on the matter. Any/all help is always appreciated.

It is possible to have More MEs in the Frame then there are Panel rows. Because of this all of the ME Global Memory modules are the same and have the buttons. If they don't light up then you don't have the MEs.

Home - Setup - Installed Options -- In there you can see what software licenses and hardware you have installed.

Correct you do not have those items -- it is also a Hardware board an not just the software license.
