Why does mem save key attributes (DVE properties) when key xpt and state are DE-selected for that mem?

I have a cam select memory that recalls a PGM XPT button (and nothing else), but for some reason it is also changing a key's DVE attributes and 2nd channel. It's making the key XPT name go from one line to dual lines with the lower line inverse (i.e. a separate alpha channel) and the key is also losing its DVE properties, when it should remain the same and the cam select mem should just be changing cams underneath the key (ignoring the key). I can't put the key into this mem as we use the cam select mems without the key as well - so it should just ignore the keys.

The key is originally set by another memory to self-key (white text on black bkgd) with a DVE applied to expand it and create a shadow on text. The camera select mem leaves the key on air with same source but since I lose the DVE it shrinks and I lose the border. I also notice the key source now has a separate channel in bold on 2nd row of key mnemonic - not sure that's affecting me but it's confusing - I have the cam select memory attributes to completely ignore that key XPT and state. Is there another 'attribute' that stores DVE settings for all keyers?

You will want to upgrade to version 7 or (now released v7.1) that has the ability to set a 3rd key attribute which is the Parameters attribute. This is the attribute that is needed as the first two are either State -- So just if it forces the key to have the state match what is in the memory when stored. XPT will only handle the source. There was no way before v11 to prevent the parameters of the key to change.
