2 ME Carbonite switcher (16 input, ver. 8.0 software)

When selecting AUX 1 on the ME, the RGB button switch remains illuminated in white, and there is no IN USE prompt in the screen. When AUX 1 is depressed on ME 1, the ME 1 PGM sources change in the mnemonic display to ME 1 and ME 2

Selecting other AUX buses on ME 1 appear to function normally... RGB button switch changes to green illumination, and the IN USE prompt appears on the on board screen.

AUX 1 operation also appears to be normal on ME 2...

Any ideas as to the possible cause of this problem... ?

    thx.

This is strange and I am not sure from your description what is going on, you mention selecting AUX 1 on and ME - do you mean as an input source? That would be a re-entry and not allowed, unless you are referring to the AUX select buttons associated with the ME row itself. Regardless I would expect the buttons on each row to function identically and it sounds like they are not.

Now I think version 8.0 was when we added the ability to change the function of the AUX select buttons to be able to control MiniME and Multiscreen, so is it possible someone has changed the button function? You can check that in the User menu>Next>UseSel which will show the control assignment for each button on each row.

Any reason why you haven't upgraded to Version 10?

    Morning:

Thanks for the heads up on getting to the control assignment.

AUX 1 was inactive. It appears to be operating normally again.

(Strange, as I was only changing crosspoint names and mapping primary crosspoint sources).

    All is well now,

    Thx.
