On the 2m panel, is there a way to assign the Global Memory Module keypad to select cameras or is this only possible through E-Mem modules?

Are you talking about using the Keypad to recall memories that have been built to be Camera selects? That is usually the "trick" done on all the big switchers.

Sure you can have the the memory pad assigned to recall either MLE 1 or MLE 2 or both at the same time.

Hey Les,

Yea, use the Global Mem. keypad for camera selects since our 2m doesn't have Effects Memory keypads, which is, of course, where I would normally select cams on a big switcher with E-Mems once setup and stored to do so. Sounds like it would work the same, just store a memory bank for camera selects in the Global Mem and then use the Global Mem keypad to select my cameras. Make sense Les?

Yes!! That is exactly the way to do it.

On Vision we don't actually have different memories -- that way you can recall from the EMEM or the Global pad the same effects.
