Is is possible to make a CC to load all of the wipe frames for ALL of the wipes that are in the switcher set?

I tried building a CC that nested recalling multiple CCs that had media players attached to them long ago. I found that it was more reliable to just fire each CC independently to insure the effect was loaded properly. If you don't put a pause / hold into the master recall after recalling each CC needed it will not load your media properly.

As Gordon points out -- it can't create a "to do list" so if you tell it to run another CC that has a wipe in it and it is not done loading it will move on to the next.

I've created a CC for one of my clients that we use to load and cache all of the frames needed for their wipes (it's a truck, and they are setting-up at least twice a week). Like the other guys here have pointed out, the trick is to allow each animation the time to load -- so what I've often done is grabbed a stopwatch and timed how long it took to load an animation so I could put the correct pause duration into the CC. In all, this CC takes about 9 minutes to run, ending with setting-up the MEs and Keyers so there is a noticeable change upon the completion of the CC running. I call it "SETUP", and have it tucked at the very end of CC bank 8.

It's not super-glamorous, but it is helpful especially to people who don't really know the ins-and-out of the switcher.
