Production Switchers

Hi all,

Been a while since I had to send out an S.O.S., but this one's got me stumped.

... I learned today that our Switcher (suddenly) can't change the left-side of our Double Boxes (Remotes). Basically, I try to hit the "SEL" (Select) button above Key 1, a split-key for this ME, and nothing happens. When it worked, the monitor usually displays an option to toggle between Channel 1 (left) and Channel 2 (right) via the Soft Keys, but now nothing changes.

Any guesses as to the problem? What happened? Any solutions or suggestions? Thanks, everyone, for all the help.

Do you have a good saved config that you can restore to?

If the menu is not following the. You need to check if the button is still working.

In the menu under diagnostics there are tests for buttons.

Also if the menu does not follow to anything at all make sure the menu lock is not enabled which would prevent that. Also in the ME area you will be able to use the ME SEL button to change the key delegation bus. You will be able to navigate the menus to the key menu. It's under the effects menu.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions... The monitor was locked because someone had accidentally hit "HOLD." lol :P

All the same, you make a good point about a recent backup... I'll work on that this week.
