  • 1.  Trigger dashboard tasks with Costum Controls

    How can i get the macros to trigger tasks in my dashboard-panel? i've added the computer with dashboard to my devices on the carbonite and tried to make a macro of the menusystem; device-rosstalk-GPI and ive written in the GPI number

    Is there anything i'm doing wrong? I have never tried to use macros for this so i don't know how to set up the events to make it work.

    Have you enabled the RossTalk GPI Listener in Dashboard Preferences?

    Yes, and i have set up the ports :) I can allready trigger my panel from dashboard on another computer, but i don't know how to set up the event list to trigger the RossTalk GPI. It seem like it stops before the event "end".

    1 - make sure the listener is enabled in DashBoard.
    2 - If this is on a device that has other applications that have RossTalk ( like XPression) make sure you change the Global Listner to something other than 7788.
    3 - Even though there is no Video going into the switcher you still need to assign the device to an input other wise the Custom Control that is sending events out will not actually send the events.
