  • 1.  Dashboard cannot access Carbonite.

    This seemed to happen this morning upon a restart of the Windows10 computer we use for Carbonite Dashboard. Message in Dashboard tab is Attempting to locate device: Carbonite Frame - Slot 0 - Configuration XXX.XXX.XX.XXX:5XX3 Slot 0 Carbonite:Configuration. Our network techs have checked all items and say all things are in the 'normal' place. Thinking we may have to restart the Carbonite today after live shows and see if this clears anything.

    Any advice would be much appreciated. Have a ticket into Ross Support also.

    For those of you who viewed this post.
    This ended up being a breakdown, somehow, in the automatic connection to the Carbonite from Dashboard when the Dashboard application was opened on the support windows machine that sits next to our Carbonite. Our tech jumped in after our Live Shows ended for the day and went in to a manual connection. Basically: Click File > New > TCP/IP Dashboard Connect or openGear Device.
