  • 1.  Carbonite Switcher question....

    We use a Carbonite switcher at our church for Saturday and Sunday services.... However, I work on a Ross Vision switcher and know that we have a source clock that is tied into the switcher. I don't know enough about the Carbonite, so I have to ask. Does the Carbonite switcher have a source clock within it that can be easily accessed?

    Thanks!

    We do not have a count down timer in Carbonite like there is in Vision.

    The closest thing you have is a regular time-of-day clock that can be turned on/off, assigned custom colors/sizing & positioned anywhere on the multiviewer output.

    With regard to the time of day clock, how do you get the system time to be accurate?

    Thanks for any help.

    I'm not in front of the console right now but I believe it's SYSTEM --> MULTIVIEW --> EDIT CLOCK

    Thank you.

    I did try that, however, the only parameters I could change were to turn the clock on/off, adjust color, sizing and position. There did not appear to be a way to set the correct time there.

    OK I'll walk over to the control room and take a look, I can confirm it is possible because I've done it before.

    OK it's MENU --> CONFIG --> NEXT --> CLOCK.

    Toggle the 12/24 hour mode then hit EDIT to set the actual time.

    Cheers!
