  • 1.  Line doubler in the MiniME 3G mode / MiniME 29.97 mode

    hi
    i have a Carbonite MM , software version is 11.0.1

    the issue came up when we are testing internal reference and SDI-FS.
    the input source is 59.94i format
    the switcher mode is 29.97 and 3G
    output required 29.97p

    in the 3G mode, we could find the Line doubler option with SDI-FS in the configure input
    but in the 29.97 mode, there is no Line doubler option.
    as i know, Line doubler can change interlace signal to prograssive signal.

    is there a way to make a final output format to 29.97p without any other external devices?
    we want to use only Carbonite.

    Hi Isaac,

    In 1080p 29.97 mode the only supported input formats for the Frame Syncs/Format Converters are 1080p 29.97 and 1080p 59.94.

    This information and supported switcher mode/input formats can be found in the Carbonite setup guide under the section "Video Reference > Frame Sync and Format Conversion".
