Production Switchers

We are Using Carbonite 4802AR-202-01 Main Farme. we have two question

1. Can we use HD 1080.50i and 576i together? if yes than how? or no than what format of sync will be use for HD and for SD. we dont want to use SDI-FC. we are providing External Sync.

2. In HD mode we check both PAL and Trilevel Sync but source not getting locked.

You have to enable the Frame Sync for those inputs that are not of the same format that your operating in. The Format Converter is part of that Frame sync. So when you enable it will also convert. Only 1 frame of delay for the Sync and Convert.
