I'm trying to add a border on an auto selected key. Just white words (lyrics over the program cut.)

There is no Drop Shadow in Carbonite. You will want to do the outside in the Graphics engine.

Thank you, any idea how you would accomplish this in the outside graphics engine if you're wanting to add a black border. but we're keying out the black?

You said your doing an Auto Key -- I am expecting that your getting an Alpha Channel and the Fill(video) channel -- So that would be able to provide the Shadow or Border as the Alpha Channel would not cut that off or would be providing a Transparency for a shadow.

If you don't have an alpha channel then you will not be able to achieve this unless it supports Super Black. That way you clip out Super Black but can maintain black. Also you should be doing a self key not an Auto Key.
