DirK;
As Les said, "All of the Ancillary Data is lost when you turn on the Frame Syncs "” that includes the Audio."
However I have done the following work around do to the same issue with a show.
Assuming your audio is embedded for input #2, #3, and #4
AND if you have three open auxs
AND three additional switcher inputs you could re-enter each of the original video inputs, via an Aux. Then frame sync the re-entered (aux) source(s) while sending the original embedded audio(s) to your audio input aux as normal.
Example:
AUX 1 = Audio De-embedder
Aux 2 = Original video input #2
Aux 3 = Original video input #3
Aux 4 = Original video input #4
You would FRAME SYNC these inputs:
Switcher input #22 = Aux2 Re-entered
Switcher input #23 = Aux3 Re-entered
Switcher input #24 = Aux4 Re-entered
Three Custom Controls: (thus allowing you to cut the desired video to the pgm bus)
Take PGM bus Aux2 Re-entered
Aux 1= Input #2 source
Take PGM bus Aux3 Re-entered
Aux 1= Input #3 source
Take PGM bus Aux4 Re-entered
Aux 1= Input #4 source
