Production Switchers

I moved something onto Key 4 today and couldn't get it to work. As a test, I switched what was in Key 1 to Key 4, and it didn't work but what was in Key 4 worked in Key 1.

I even swapped out the custom control from Key 3 to Key 4. Everything worked, made the cuts, turned on/off keys, rolled the video off Blackstorm and switched sources but no graphic appeared on screen.

Is there a setting I need to change to get Key 4 to work like Keys 1,2,3?

Try setting up the Key in Key 1 the way you like. Then press and hold the Key 4 SEL button. While holding then tap the Key 1 Button. This will copy the parameters and source to Key 4 from Key 1 so that the keys are setup identically. Next what output are you looking at? Have you made sure that physical output is not assigned to Clean Feed? And if so is it set to KEY 4 in which case you would only see Keys 1-3 on that output.

I'm in live assist, looking at the buses. key 4 is set to the physical button I want it set to (like the other three keys which work) but key four still doesn't work

What is your system? What Carbonite and What model (look at the Status page in DashBoard)

What is your Software Version?

What is the physical output your looking at -- or if the MV what "window" is it and what is that actual Assignment? (you could just look at the actual box in the Configuration menu of dashBoard)

What is the Key type? Are all of the key settings identical between 1 and 4?

Can you save this as a memory? then Save a Setup file and then email that setup file to us? loreilly@rossvideo.com will work.

Now I see what you are talking about. On the configuration menu, ME 1 Clean Feed has the Key 4 button highlighted. How would I un-highlight that or can I? How can I get Key 4 to work?

Thanks will look at this -- Now back to the question you put in -- it does not get un highlight but you don't want to be seeing the Clean feed of the ME you would want PGM of the ME.
