Production Switchers

Hey anyone know why all the controls in the media manager would be all grayed out and permit no access to even the internal media?

I can do nothing in the media manager but all other controls in Dashboard are working fine.

So just to add a little more detail, i just upgraded from 9.1 to 10 and no change. still no access to the media manager interface.

Hi Brian,

It's actually a Web UI and launching a Browser. It is using your default browser an so you probably need to upgrade Internet Explorer to version 10.

Thats interesting. the default browser on our machine is Chrome. Does the UI require IE?

I think if you have IE installed it is what Windows uses under the hood. Can you update to IE 10 and then try again?

So we decided to upgrade the machine. It was an older slower machine with XP. We are changing to a faster newer machine with Win 7. I ll let you know how it goes.

hey. got the same problem.

system was rebooted before and i even tryed a fresh formated stick.

got no window on dashboard webbrowser chrome / iexplore

it was working before i restarted the system

what happens if you open a web browser and then enter the switchers ip?

the same. it opens up the url but you only see ross on the top and thats it.

the m1 m2 m3 m4 buttons and all the others things are not there. just empty window

try rebooting the switcher but this sounds like a PC browser issue

i cant be. i have 2 different pcs - both of them show the same problem. switcher is rebooted 2 times already.

Hi Dirk,

Do you see the Directory tree for the Media Manager? If so can you navigate to internal sources and select them?

nope thsts the problem. i will reimage the carbonite.again
