Can you change key priority on the Carbonite?

    Hi Sara,

You can easily change key layer priority using the key swap function.

Simply hold down the key you want to swap in the transition area and the press the key you want to change it to in the key selector above the ME delegate bus.

You can also include key priority changes in memories.

Can I change key priority in the middle of an effect? I'm trying to squeeze video back and then have a box appear above it, so the box would need to be below it and then above it. Or is there another way?

    Sarah:

Sounds to me that you need to build a custom control or at the minimum three emems on the same ME bank.

Emem 1 being Box behind other. Emem 2 - bottom box moved to position #2. Emem 3 - Keyer priority change for your boxes.

Personally I would build it using a custom control.

Either way will give you the same results. I hope that helps

    Yes indeed you can Sara,

To get the squeeze back you would need an EffDiss memory recall and you can create the whole effect with Custom controls as Gordon says.

    Sara,

I have created a custom control with memories as an example, you can download it via the following link...

Put these on you USB switcher set under the memories and custom control directories if you want to try this out.

I would suggest creating a new save set first so that you will not be overwriting any current settings.
