    Can we get NTP over ethernet support added to the switcher so the clock remains accurate without resorting to timecode cabling?

    That would also require implementing time zones and such, but I was kind of surprised that the functionality wasn't arleady there, as it seems the unit runs a posix environment.

    It is on the list of things we would like to do.

    Originally it was not implemented as trying to configure all of that via the menu was a little tedious. Now with DashBoard it would make that a easier task. It is not in a Release Plan yet so I can't tell you when that will be.

    Just chiming in with a "+1" for this a request.

    One of our clients has a facility with several CBF-109s that uses NTP for everything and no LTC source/need (video is overseen by the client's IT group plus everything they're responsible for--video or otherwise--except Carbonite supports NTP)... Have all of the XPressions synced so most importantly on air clocks match facility time but it would be really nice to be able to get the Carbonites on the same page... or even be able keep them within a few seconds of facility time.

    We still do not have NTP support in any of the Carbonite Platforms.

    At this time there is no way to use NTP..  However this is a device that has been used in many installations where a Master Sync Generator with LTC is not available.
