New to the forum first post here. I Recently purchase a carbonate black solo and I am connecting 3 robotic cameras to it, cameras shooting 1080/59.94. I also purchased a blackmagic 4K duplicator, I am connecting the carbonate black solo output 1 to the input of the duplicator and I am getting no signal on the duplicator display, if I connect a camera to the duplicator I get a picture on the duplicator display. I have setup the program to go to the output 1 still nothing. I have tried multiple cables still nothing what am I missing.

1080i or 1080p are you using SDI or HDMI for the Cameras?? Next what format is the switcher in? What output are you connecting to the Duplicator? If you connect the output to a monitor is it fine? When you connect the Camera to the Duplicator does it tell you what format the Cameras are in? Have you called tech support and asked them to help you? (613) 652-4886

Using SDI 1080p. Switcher inputs set for 1080p 59.94. I am connecting output 1 of the swtcher. I don't have a monitor or tv with SDI inputs will need to get a convetor from SDI to HDMI. Cameras are all set for 1080p 59.94. Haven't call tech support yet.

If you connect the HDMI output of the switcher to a monitor and put PGM on it does the monitor show you correctly? Also you might want to set the switcher ANC DATA to Strip just to make sure that the duplicator is not having an issue with any of that data. What are you doing regarding Audio?

I currently am using the only HDMI output for the multiscreen monitor. I will try to set it up to strip the ANC DATA. Audio, well, i was just going to take a BUS send from the sound board to a recorder and then the video out from the switcher converted to hdmi ( the recorder doesn't have SDI input), but now it seems they want to send the signal to multiple monitors in the building, which means I am going to have to get something that will combine the audio from the sound board with the video signal, hopefully something that I can control the delay to match video and audio timing, haven't started any research on the piece of equipment yet, any suggestions. I will be using SDI to get from the booth to the monitors (HDMI monitors, so each will need a convertor) in the building.

You will need an Audio Embedder. Some do have delays but not all. No idea why the BMD product has an issue -- that said the 12G SDI output of a BMD convert was not recognized by a ATOMS Flame Recorder -- So again sometimes things don't always plug an play well.
