    Hi Ricardo,

You can only perform a cut behind the media wipe.

If you want you could build the transition in a Custom Control and use Key 4 to layer the M2/M4 pair as an AutoKey -- cut the key on air (make sure the media item is set to auto play) then you could program the dissolve into the custom control to run under the keyer. When the transition finishes you cut the key off air.

Another question along the lines of the original poster.

When doing a media transition from a source on Program (+Key1) to Preset (+Key 1), having background only selected for the next transition, the media wipe is between Key1 and Program in priority. This leads to the lower 3rd staying visible throught the transition on top of the media wipe. However, when media wiping from Program without lower 3rd to Preset with lower 3rd via background+key1, the media wipe is 1st in priority and the lower 3rd does not show until the media transition is complete. Is there an option I'm missing to make the media transition always 1st priority? It may have been doing this all along, but I didn't notice it until after our engineers upgraded us to V7.

The Priority is being set by what you are including in the transition. The animated wipe is acting like it should -- Just like a wipe. Perform the exact same transition with a Dissolve/Wipe/DVE transition and you will see that the behaviour is the same.

Currently there is no setting that allows you to force this to the top. I can add it to the Feature request Database (actually it is there now) but I can't currently tell you when you will see that ability at this time.

The other thing that you could do is just build the MediaWipes the "traditional way" in a Custom Control using Key 4 and then you will always have it on top.
