Hey Jens,
I will elaborate on Nigel's point of using the Custom Control.
I would build it to be used with any "Animate ON" type graphic. My Macro would be built like this:
since you will have to Navigate to the Media Store menu after your done with making the macro you will want to go back in and delete a couple of steps out of the macro -- or leave them as they won't affect it either way.
You will want to make sure that your going to use this in the same Keyer every time as well. So we will expect in this example that your using Key 4 of MLE 2 (your unit is the 2M).
So start recording macro -- Key 4 SEL button (press to delegate the row, won't actually record in the macro) then select the media store channel (we will say M1) now you can press the next button on the menu until you get to the attributes menu-- scroll the attribute Knob until you get direction modifier -- now select REV. You should see it "Run Off". Now I would inset a "Hold" type pause. This way it will work with any duration of Media Item (if you don't plan to use this with any other item then you would insert a pause duration that matched the length of the Animation + 1 Frame). Now Insert a "Cut Key 4 Off" command -- again like a pause it is easy to just hold down the "Inset Button" and the key row will change to show you inset commands -- select the Key Cut option and then in the menu select MLE 2 Key 4 "OFF" for the state and then click on the insert button. This will ensure that it cuts the key off air. Now insert a Pause of 1 Frame and set the Media Attribute back to FWD (this way if you press the Cut the key back on air it will run in the correct direction). Now stop recording your custom control. Your good to go.
How have things been going since I was in Oslo? Hope all is well. I really did enjoy my time with you guys and look forward to the next time around.
