  • 1.  Using Xpression with Carbonite Black Solo using Rosstalk

    Hello,
    Im having trouble with the Xpression software utilizing the media store on the CB9 to key the graphic. Please see the picture. I have watched your online video with Les that details the setup of the 2 applications. Not sure if its a setting that needs to be changed dealing with sd/hd formats?

    Did you set a correct Preview Frame on the scene director by Right clicking with the slider moved over?

    What version of XPression are you on and what version of Carbonite Solo software?

    Black Solo version 1.2 and Xpression 7.0. Ill have to check on the preview frame setting

    Les, I have located the scene director and this template is set at length 200 and Preview is at 0.

    Try changing it to a different frame -- like 10 or something. Also make sure that in the sequencer all of the transitions are set to Cut.

    No dice on the change suggestions above. I did confirm graphic created within XPression on laptop 7.0 does work, but the graphics that are noted from above are created with XPression studio machines v 6.2. Seems to be a compatibility problem? Maybe we need to update firmware in control room machines in order to use graphics on the laptop?

    I would say then it is a XPression Project issue
