    Hi,

This is more curiosity than actually having a plan to utilize it...

We have a 3play 440 unit and a Ross Carbonite 2ME, and I've been playing around with the AMP controls. I can play, stop, and cue a current loaded clip just fine... I am more wondering now if it is possible to build a macro to cue a certain clip. When I build a macro, I see that it does save the clip ID as part of the cue command, but it doesn't seem to actually recall that clip. Anyone have any experience with these units?

How did you do this? I tried to with my Carbonite. My problem was the AMP Protocol is not available.

AMP Protocol should be available. It was for me. I just added a new video server device using AMP, pointing it to the IP address of our 3play.

Must be a typo in the Ross documentation. It calls to set it as AMP 1.0, but only AMP 0.2 is on the Carbonite. This is what stopped me before. I just tried it now and it worked. Now I am curious if Newtek will release any VDCP capabilities with the 3Play. You could set something up in Dashboard as Carbonite does not support VDCP within the frame.

Yes the the typo was probably that it was supposed to originally say .1 and is now .2 as we did add some commands like Loop to it. Why would you want VDCP? AMP works just fine. What do you want to do in DashBoard?
