  • 1.  LCD Errors on the Carbonite Panel

    Hi guys.

    We have just finished set up of a Carbonite system and have had a few issues with the LCDisplay on the 1st eight buttons of the Panel - when we changed the Mnemonic from Default to the source, it would display random characters unrelated to the actual source label. Further, when we changed the crosspoint it would then display another, different random character. I have had this issue once before (when I renamed the PGM button to something else)...By the time I got to the mixer, I was unable to do do any major tests as it is effectively "in show"....any idea what this might be?

    Is it possible to do a "Panel Reset"? Or is that just a power cycle of the Panel?

    Yes just pull the power and plug it back in.

    Sometimes we have seen you need to do a reboot of the frame as well as it needs to clear the mnemonic cache.

    What version is the switcher currently on?

    Currently using 7.3.1. Will reset the system and see how it goes.
