Is there a setting to turn off memory store light once you press the enter button to store a memory?
Also when saving a set does it save User settings in save all?
And does the Carbonite Black have storage for animations other than the cache to permanently store stills and animations?

We have a black panel (CB2S) that we also can't get the memory state on the ME bus's 10 key to auto change to recall mode after a memory has been entered. It does when you make a global memory save on the multi-function keys. Real interested to find the solution to this question too.

We will be adding an enhancement in a future release to deal with this -- it is an oversight. In Vision/Acuity this is the behaviour and you can disable the switch to Recall if you like. I don't think we need it to stay in Store Mode at anytime after a Store so I would rather just fix this behaviour.

I can see a case for keeping it in Store Mode. When setting up memories for different box configurations, I need to keep selecting the store button every time (I use the older Carbonite where the behaviour is as per JimS.'s first question). It's not a huge problem, but would be awesome if there was some sort of mode it could be switched into for rapid storing of memories, such as possibly double-pressing the store button to keep it in store mode, and then double-pressing recall to put it back to the other way where recall is selected after storing a memory.

In answer to the JimS.'s other questions:
    - I'm pretty sure user settings are stored with save all.
    - a USB drive (flash drive or hard drive) can be plugged into the internal USB port inside the front door of the Carbonite frame. Files can be stored on there and recalled using memories, customs, dashboard, or selecting through the menus on the panel.

Yeah I don't see how during setup where you can take the time to press 1 more button (as you can always undo a recall). You would then have to go and change a "personality" back and forth. I would rather just have a consistent operation that is better focused during live operation -- that would be the switch back to Recall after a store.
