    I've downloaded the latest firmware and noticed the .DS Store File in the download. Does this need to be on the thumb drive for the upgrade? Either way....what is it?

    no it does not -- a .DS Store file is from a "Mac OS X" transfer. It got placed the by the PC that created the folder and zip file. Don't worry about it -- it's a Mac thing ;)

    full disclosure requires that I point out that I am a Mac user but also have to step into windows for some products ;)
