Is there a way to BLUR or better yet totally defocus an image?

Along with that thought is there a way to color correct or even make an image Black and White?

I have been requested to several times to manipulate the picture these ways or the combination of them so the client can build a tease for their show.

Hi Gordon,

There is no Blur function in the DVE or Colour Correction. On the Carbonite Plus and MultiMedia Systems you do have the Ability to CC or Proc Amp and Input. With those system just double press a crosspoint of the source you want to modify and then you can set the values -- make sure you turn it ON before making adjustments otherwise you won't see it :) Then you can use the ON/OFF to enable and disable the CC or Proc but not have to reset the values.
