  • 1.  Carbonite/Xpression CC - Don't change focus of Sequencer?

    Posted 03-19-2019 01:19
I'm possibly missing something simple here, but I'm running in to an issue when I build a CC to trigger a scene in Xpression. I have a group set up for scenes that are used often between different shows, and then another group that has the scenes I need from start to finish. When I run a CC on Carbonite, it moves the focus in the sequencer window to the group that has the scene I am triggering, and I don't want it to do that, I need it to stay on the currently highlighted scene. How do I set this up? I've looked at all the options in the preferences menu and don't see anything that works. Help, please??

What command are you inserting in your Custom Control?

Can you give a little more clarity on the steps you're putting in and what you would like to see?

Is the issue the Bar is moving when you take the source to air (roll clip in the device options allows you to disable sending the Next command).

This is possible to do, as I'm able to trigger scenes via a CC and it doesn't move the focus. I use the TAKE command to do it. If you're using SEQI, that will move the focus.

    From the manual:
    TAKE takeid:buffer:layer

Loads take item takeid to air in framebuffer number buffer on layer number layer. The Sequencer focus does not move to this item. For example, TAKE 5:0:7 loads the template with TakeID 5 into framebuffer 1 and onto layer 7.
