    Hiho everybody,

is it possible to trigger CCs by keyboard? Like for example assigning the shotbox items in dashboard a keyboard button? Or even better, triggering them by a xkeys keypad ( http://xkeys.com/xkeys/xk24.php )?

    Regards,
    Marc

    Hey Marc,

If you create your own custom panel inside of dashboard to fire your custom controls you can assign gpi triggers to each button. Then you can go to preferences and assign keyboard shortcuts to the gpi triggers assigned to your buttons.

    Hey Team,

Just wanting to know how to do this in detail.

I am wanting to control the vision mixer from either a Keyboard or from 'Elgato Stream Deck Keyboard' as linked below:
    https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/elgato-stream-deck-keyboard/26750198?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIr5b92P_63QIVRgoqCh2C1Qc0EAYYASABEgJFGfD_BwE

Ideally I would like to just control ME1 Background Bus (or if it must be AUX or CC).

So, can I use that Stream Deck Keyboard is my first question?

Also, if I can use that or a normal keyboard, how would I exactly assign a GPI Trigger to the keyboard?

Any help will be hugely grateful.

    Regards,
    Jonathan

Hey Jonathan- Have you figured this out yet? I definitely should be do-able with the StreamDeck. Off the top of my head I can't recall if there are any caveats with the Vision, but I just set it up on a Carbonite a few minutes ago. On the streamdeck, you'll want to get the Companion App from BitFocus. Via this app, you'll configure a "RossTalk" connection to the IP address of your switcher. From there, you'll configure your Companion buttons with Rosstalk commands to do what you want to do. The commands appear in a dropdown menu and are pretty straightforward. Once you get to this point, if you need further help, google "Acuity/Vision Rosstalk Commands" for the Ross webpage that explains the commands. You can do all the above...MLE1 BG bus, Aux Feed, or Custom Control.

Holler if you run into issues.
