Does anyone know if I can setup a record GPI trigger for a KiPro?

Not sure -- does the KiPro allow Record commands via a GPI trigger?

If so then all you have to do is pick a GPI/O pin -- set it to GPO function and match the desired input type of the KiPro.

Then make a custom control and insert that GPO trigger -- now you have button that can trigger it.

There isn't GPI/O on the KiPro. The only ways to do it is to get something that will convert GPO triggers to RS422 on the KiPro, or use Dashboard.

does anyone have the IP Protocol for the KiPro? I can't seem to locate it on their site.

They don't have an IP protocol unfortunately (unlike the BMD Hyperdeck). They use HTTP requests. See my post here:
