Production Switchers

I have M2 in my multiviewer as that is set as my default for media wipes. I am struggling to get the right thumbnail to display though. I have it setup in media manager and it looks right there. Is there somewhere on the panel I need to set it too?

There is a thumbnail frame and a Cut frame. did you set both?

On the panel I went into EDITmt. I have tried switching them in that menu with no luck. The cut frames have been set since I implemented the wipes so that has not been a problem.

Okay -- so I find that even if I use a different Transition Type for the media wipe. If I go into Media Manager and change the "cut frame" this won't change the Transition back to a cut but it will control where the Frame that we display in PV is coming from. Now also note that you have to make sure that it is not also showing up somewhere else in the switcher that thinks it is ON AIR. if it thinks it is ON AIR then it will not jump to the PV frame.

I can just change it to a media wipe or Dissolve with a 0 Frame Rate and it acts as a cut and I can better set the preview. Great find Les! Thanks for the help.

I would just setup the Media Wipe how you want the settings to be. Then use the "cut frame" in the MediaManager Tab after to define the PV frame.
