    Dear all, is there a way to use the carbonite's GP_Inputs to to switch an output of an ultrix. Best regards. Dieter

    Yes "” setup a device on the Carbonite that is a RossTalk generic device that will have the up address of the Ultrix and use port 7788. Then build Custom Controls that Fire RossTalk GPI events to that device. The GPI number will match the salvo number that you create in the Ultrix.

    I have set this up a few times for triggering camera shading events.

    Once you have tested the Custom Controls to fire these salvos correctly you will then go into the Carbonite and link the Carbonite GPI Input to trigger these Custom Controls.

    @lesoreilly if I could bug you on this one. When I go to setup the device in my panel; I select RossTalk but I am not able to change the sub type to Generic. It is stuck on "xpression_1.0". Any ideas on why I am not able to change this to generic? SW Version is 12.3.0.16564. Thanks
