    HI there

setting up an ultra - 8GB of storage - have converted two longish sequences into JPG (no alpha)  - one is 200 frames and the other is approx 700frames..with both barely tickling 1.5 GB in space.

However I cant seem to get both to load and or cache up and can only get the 200 frame seq. into M1 and then when trying to load the other  into M2 it wont accpet it - and indicates there are only 10frames remining avail.

is there a cap on total frames? or am i missing something.

    HI

I've loaded approx 400 frames jpg sequence into carbonite few month ago, at least it worked with old software version. It even worked in a way, when at first you load few sequences one by one into one memory slot and then you are able to  recall each of once loaded sequences instantly via custom control (until you restart the switcher or disconnect your USB flash drive).

    Hi Jamie,

The MediaStore is Uncompressed Video.  So even though your sequence is 1.5GB on the drive that is based on a compressed format.

When each frame is loaded into the Ram Cache it has to be converted into Video Space and Frames.  This results in much larger size per frame-- and they are all "equal" size now since they are uncompressed.
