Hi, there once again :)
Today I had experienced the very unusual obstacle on the ross carbonite 2 ME. To elucidate the problem, prior to starting the show Panel went to ME Follow function in such a way that which button was pressed in the 1st ME was being duplicated on the 2nd ME automatically as well, an operator hadnot done any function to carry out ME Follow. As I turned the frame off and then on again it went back its normal operation mode.

I was wondering

1) is there any button on the panel thatactivates ME Follow automatically?

2) if I had faced the problem once again can I turn off ME Follow form the PANEL MENU ?

Was it that the actual video in the MEs was following or just the buttons on the panel were doing the same thing — ie did the video outputs for the two MEs behave differently? Or was it just the panel rows that were changing?

The first is a ME video follow function which you can find in dashboard on the configuration pages.

More likely is that someone used a user select button to mad a different ME to the row and you were controlling the same ME from both rows.

Yup the panel row had been assigned to the same ME. Each row can be delegated to any of the ME or MIniME. The default for the buttons is an aux bus assign and key cap. But in the installation kit you had replacement key caps to change the label. This is because you can remap those buttons to select different delegations. So yes a button was pressed and selected the same ME.
