Problem experiencing:
Installed a Carbonite Solo with two computers using propresenter. When playing clips from Propresenter, at random audio would start to crackle, which crackling would get worse over time. I have 5 venues using the same files and programs with no problem. I have replaced all hardware except the Carbonite Solo and the and audio console.
Equipment:
I have a two Mac mini’s using ProPresenter both connected to a Blackmagic ultra studio mini (usb-c), connected to a Ross Carbonite solo (sdi). I am taking a program output from the Carbonite solo and dembedding it using an Ampactic de-embedder into a Yamaha TF5. The two Ultrastudios and Carbonite Solo are getting reference from an AJA Sync generator.
Troubleshooting:
Have swapped sdi cables, de-embedder, sync generator, and Ultra studio. I cannot seem to reproduce, the crackle appears on it it’s own and progressively gets worse. Typically occurs on videos at a 20min in point, however it has also occurred on a shorter 3 minute video.
Would love any support you can give. Ross has said it’s not the Carbonite Solo since it’s only passing the audio, not processing.
