Production Switchers

Help me understand the function of A&B. We have two Multi-viewers out and each has an A & B side. Whatever my source is on A is also on B, and from what I think I under stand it has to be and cant be different. So what do I use the B side for? I wanted to use the B side to give me more sources because I can only have ten at the most on a grid.

On the Vision MVs there are 10 Buses that go to the Card and then you have 2 Output heads that can access any of the 10 Buses but have independent configurations of layouts.

So, if I understand the the "B" side with a different grid has to have the same 10 buses as "A" just a different grid?

Correct -- There are 10 Buses into the FPGA. Then you have 2 Output Heads. Each can have different layouts with access to those 10.
